Mauboussin is a diamond and jewelry retailer from Paris. They have been in business well over 100 years, and this Madison Ave. store is their first in North America.
Their logo is a 4 pointed star, so we were asked to engineer a bouquet style center piece that would function as both art and gem display.
Within each star bouquet is a capsule designed by DKDI that houses a small linear actuator arm that allows it to be locked. By swiping a magnetic card on the base, the capsules release the locks so rings can be removed. The star is made from cast resin, and the stems are titanium plated stainless steel.

This image shows the wedding floor. We produced the treasure box displays and the “pod” sales desks. The desks were designed to look like travel cases. They are clad in white leather and titanium plated stainless steel.
Treasure box jewel display cases. Made like the diamond bars in tempered glass, white pearl high gloss finish over MDF and a stem base of titanium plated spun stainless steel.
